The Company was founded by Mr John Brannan whom began his career as an Electrical apprentice where his then employer recognised his potential and enquired if a Technicians position within the Office would be more appropriate. From this point Mr Brannan has been working between Office and site environments, involved in all aspects of Mechanical & electrical Services from design stage through to final accounts in numerous projects throughout the United Kingdom. Extensive Facilities Management experience has been gained during Management control of Mechanical, Electrical & Building works involved with BBC Scotland and the Northgate Building, Glasgow.
Collage & University attendance led to Honours Degree qualification of a Bachelor of engineering in summer 1993 and membership of the charted Institute of building services Engineers ( C.I.B.S.E. ). Quality Assurance qualifications were achieved during this period from Quality Consultant Services in Cumbernauld.
Mr Brannan has extensive experience of Building services achieved through employment within both Consultants & service contractors over the last 25 Years.
· Contracts Manager
Mr Michael Charlton began his employment as a Mechanical Apprentice, which led to a successful tradesman ship. Mr Charlton joined Select in summer of 2002 where he quickly progressed to charge hand, responsible for running of site contracts. His exceptional Leadership were highlighted & he was offered Contract Managers position in 2007. During this time he has successfully completed an extensive Trade Management Course & now oversees the Management of all Site Based Staff & Sub-Contractors. He is also has full control of contracts from successful Tender stage to issue of Architects Final Certificate.
· Staff
Administration staff consists of 1No. Full time Admin Assistant whom is employed at Bowman Street to deal with day-to-day duties and is currently attending Bell Collage on a part time basis in Office Administration.
An Accounts/Office Manager is employed to oversee all Office duties, wages & Company Accounts.
12No.Site based Engineers are now employed all suitable qualified for their particular discipline. All Gas Engineers carry Gas Safe Cards, Electricians have 17th Edition & AC engineers are full F Gas Registered. Additional labour only Sub-contractors are also employed to fulfil resources requirements on Contracts. Each has been individually reviewed & inspected to ensure they comply with Select high expectations.
Specialist Sub-Contractor Engineers can also be obtained for any particular contract.
